Project Overview
Child protection efforts focus on creating safe and supportive environments for children and caregivers, ensuring their psychological and emotional well-being through structured psychosocial support (PSS). These interventions include Child-Friendly Spaces (CFSs) in homes, communities, and health facilities, where children and caregivers receive emotional and social support. Community-based sessions in schools and local gatherings further strengthen resilience. Small departing gifts for children visiting CFSs add a sense of comfort, while recreational activities and psychosocial well-being messages are delivered in schools, community-based education (CBEs), health facilities, transit centers, and communities. For those in need of specialized mental health services, referrals are made to external professionals, internal psychosocial counselors, or financial support is provided. Economic and social reintegration programs assist affected children and adults, ensuring their stable return to society. Vulnerable children receive structured case management through CPIMS+, while referrals to educational services ensure continued learning and development. These comprehensive strategies aim to safeguard children’s rights and foster their holistic growth in secure environments.
